2020 Meeting – Bristol

COVID-19:
We are closely monitoring developments in the UK regarding the current viral outbreak.  With travel and group meeting restrictions being implemented over the coming weeks, the possibility of holding our upcoming meeting is becoming increasingly unlikely. Although the meeting remains for the time being “open”, we would advise potential delegates not to register until further notice, and to not book travel or accommodation.
Those of you who have already registered, we will contact you in due course (in the event of cancellation) to discuss rolling over registration, refunding or transferring registrations. We would urge you to cancel travel and accommodation arrangements if you have booked these in time to be eligible for full refunds.
We will update further as and when we know more. Please contact us via AutophagyUK2020@gmail.com if you have any further questions.
Keep well everyone,
Jon & Berni

Accommodation site suggestions:

The international keynote speakers will be staying at the conference venue, the Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge.

For alternative, more affordable accommodation we recommend Number Thirty Eight, The Rodney Hotel, and the Victoria Square Hotel, which are all in easy walking distance to the conference venue. Slightly further afield but still in easy (~15mins) walking distance is the Berkeley Square Hotel, the Washington Guesthouse, the Clifton Hotel.

Fancy staying on the harbourside? Then there is a Travelodge, an Ibis and an excellent YHA.

Other accommodation site suggestions can be found below as well as on the city map with hotels.
